◘To help finance the frrench & Indian War
◘To help with the maintaning of English troops in the colonies. Colonists were Dissatisfied-
☺They resented power.
☺Disliked England's strict control over colonial legislature.
☺No taxes.
☺Parliament could not tax them because they did not have representation. Proclamation Of 1763
•A law that said the colonist could not settle the land past the Ohio Valley.
•Thay fought the French & Indian War to win the Ohio Valley.
•Colonist found this unfair,some wanted to move west. Why Proclamation Of 1763- ♠He thought it would be too expensive to protect the colonists in the Ohio valley.
♠2000 settlers had already diedthere. Quartering Act- ○Brittish soldiers must be given food and housing in the colonies.
○1765 The colonies Finally had Enough-
♣They did want to be taxed without having anything to say about it.
♠They did not have representation in parliament.
